Michael Zmetrovich - CEO
Michael Zmetrovich has over 30 years of experience in the golf, club, hospitality, hotel, lodging and real estate industries. Mr. Zmetrovich brings a broad background of business, financial, technical, and industry knowledge to his management and strategy assignments. He is an accomplished, result driven, M&A, management,
development, renovation, finance, marketing, sales, strategy, and consulting executive who has started and successfully led
multiple companies. Over the last three decades, Michael has been involved in the acquisition, development, renovation, management and disposition of over 100 properties located throughout the United States and around the World.
Previously, Mr. Zmetrovich was co-founder and CEO of Trophy Golf & Resorts and was involved in the planning and development of several resort and private club communities, managed private residence clubs and provided management and consulting services to private clubs, golf courses, resorts and related real estate projects.
Mr. Zmetrovich was a Senior Vice President of the Nicklaus Companies in North Palm Beach, Florida and responsible for its management and development company division. During his tenure, the company opened six new Jack Nicklaus designed facilities and managed twelve different properties. Mr. Zmetrovich was also a member of Executive Sports International’s Executive Committee, the largest operator of PGA Tour and LPGA Tour events in the world at the time.
Mr. Zmetrovich began his professional career in Management Consulting, first as a Management Consultant for Laventhol & Horwath’s hospitality group in Boston, Massachusetts and West Palm Beach, Florida and then as Senior Management Consultant and national specialist in the golf, club, hotel, resort, and hospitality industries for EY/Kenneth Leventhal & Company in Los Angeles, California and finally as National Director of Horwath Landauer Hospitality Group’s Golf Services Group in Boston, Massachusetts.
Mr. Zmetrovich earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management from Florida International University in Miami, Florida while attending on a full golf scholarship.
